Why oh why are there only 18 vehicles in the Garage section when we have 1466 members?
COME ON PEOPLE!! Post your VW pic's and story in the Garage.
Besides the Baja section, this area is one I frequent. I get loads of ideas/info just by reading your story and seeing your pic's.....

it seems to be working now, hope it stays that way. it's been up for a long time now and nothe seems to be lost this time.

you can post here for now after the server swap the "Garage" has not been leting any oe upload pictures another thing that needs to be looked at once I get my renatl unit cleaned and rented.

No worries, thanks for all you do. I jsut wish we had a club out here in the Carolinas. We don't even have a good Vw shop to go to. Most of my parts I have to order. Which sometimes sucks waiting for a part to come in. Again thanks for all you do.

Sorry to jack the thread a bit.
Dunno how far it is but there's a place in Durham NC. Never been myself but I see the ad in a VW rag I get.
Next time I'm down that way and if I have time I want to swing by and check 'em out.
Living in VA I have the same problem with parts. All the good junk yards carry mostly newer stuff and certainly no VW specific parts warehouses so I'm forced to mail order as well.
As far as uploading just like AZ said, it's been an issue. Some day he'll have some spare time on his hands and fix it.

Where at in Durham is it? We went to Greensboro yesterday cause there was supposed to be a thursday night club meeting at a place called Herbies. Well when we found it at 1915 hrs there where only two cars there and the where not VW's. I did find a little place called Leigh's VW Werks in town. He is a one man shop that is recovering from an accident that nearly killed him. His friend wasn't as lucky. He was saying his business is picking up a little. I think that I will start making a weekly visit to him. Maybe see if I can help him out and meet some more folks in town.

Sorry to hear the Greensboro trip was a bust. That's very dissappointing. The wife and I plan on moving in that general direction in a few years if not sooner, God willing.
Guess us "east coast guys" will have to contend with online ordering for our VW goodies.

I know how it is. I could drive 30 miles to SLC to the 'local' VW shop, but chances are they won't have what I need (his shop looks like my closet in high school), and will have to order it anyway...trip wasted. I just end up mail ordering everything from Chirco.

When I retire I'm moving further south.
