Im new to the forum, i just added pics of my buggy to the new member section go check it out.
I have a couple quick questions. Just pulled my motor and found a standing oil in my bell house also my clutch looks dirty/oily. not sure it my seal is bad, cause its also coming out of the pulley to, i think it might be the case pressure is to high. i was thinking of an oil breather?
also, my flywheel has some small groves on the surface. looks like a used not trashed brake rotor. at what point do i need to get it resurfaced?

replace the rear main seal and that should fix the oil in the bellhousing problem.
I had the same issue with it leaking behind the pulley. If it is the sand seal kind, take it off and check for the spacer and see if the rubber on the sand seal is still there. If not, replace em. If their fine, a breather should work. I replaced them both and got a breather and it stopped leaking
not sure what to do about the flywheel

X2 on the seal and o ring make sure the end play is within specs. Polish where the seal rides.
As for the roughness where the clutch disc goes it does not really matter. When you replace the assembly you could/should get it resurfaced.

Ok, I will replaced both seals or at least check them. I also get the notion i should just get the flywheel resurfaced anyway while its off.
Do any of you have a preference of oil breather i was looking at the standard empi foam style...?

Replace both the clutch and pressure plate or neither... same problem as brake rotors.. if your clutch is 'worn' into the grooves of the pressure plate and replace only one you will create hot spots.. can get pressure plate turned but if unsure how wore it is I would replace both for peace of mind.. if not clean the oil out of the clutch area and let both stay..

I was going to switch from a stock pressure plate and looks like stock sprung disc, over to a KEP stage 1 and Rigid Kush-lock/daiken. i was getting a ton of slip when i punched the gas, it would just spin.
Also, what kind of oil breather does everyone use? Plus, how do you like it?

I use the tall breather can that has a K&N filter built in. Oil on your new clutch disc will make it slip. It is similar to Chirco part #CPR129376

The Stage 1 pressure plate and Daiken disc work well together.

Thank you for all that info and pictures, a huge help!
I got this oil breather, which should be good for all the rain, mud and dust i see. plus i was told that the stock empi is not big enough for my 2110...
I ended up finding a place that will turn my flywheel for $30 and they said they would help put the gland nut back on to a torque spec of 217lbs. my torque wrench only goes to 150lbs.
