i have leaking coilover shocks the cheapy ones coil over shock adjust at bottom to 3 settings , i have an irs rearend up two splines and am wanting some replacement rear shocks what can you recommend had looked at kyb gas-a-just as i have these on the frontend but unsure if they will be ok on the rear due to the lift.
or what can you recommend .

You can buy longer length shocks for the rear. KYB, KONI,Bilstein all make them.

do you have any part numbers , all the vw places over here only sell standard or shocks for lowered beetles.
its proving difficult to find longer ones..

do you know if t2 68-79 shocks fit the rear
kyb say kg5539 for t1 rear but the t2 ones are kg5530 gives 3" longer travel but will they fit an irs beetle rear end.

Ok,,,not knowing application,,,irs or swing, yesr and such go to this link......

scroll to the bottom and check the travel specs and such to find a set that will work for you. I have a set of sway away race runner coil overs and a set of the mx2's to double them up. good luck.
