Well, actually it's for Mrs. Locutis. I get to "help" her restore it. Cool
Actually the plan is to do the work together. Should be fun and I get to teach the wife some thing for a change.

Before any one suggests, I've already gotten the big "NO" in making it a Baja Ghia. She wants to restore back to original or as close as possible and just cruise around "topless", oh, I mean with the top down. Cool Sounds good to me too!

Great looking Ghia, wish we had some of that rain out here so the ground would be green instead of brown!!!

Thanks guys. It is in pretty good shape considering the winter abuse our vehicles go through out here on the east coast. With the salting of the roads and such...
The wife is very excited to get going on this. She's already bought a "Club" for it so no one trys to take off with here baby.

BTW. I will be looking for lots of advise because I know Beetles fairly well but know jack-$@#& (and jack left town) about Ghias. This project will definately "edgjumencate" me along the way I'm sure.

Bout the only difference is the body. Engine, suspension, trans, pan for the most part are all the same between the bugs and the ghias, so if you got the bugs figured out your on your way. Very cool car. I had a 65 that I drove in High School and would like to get another street ghia some time. Good luck!
