I have a 64 bug that i want to install a eco tec motor in i have the motor and intake. i need to find an automatic transaxle. and what mods would i ahve to do to make the automatic work with the bug being rear engine and all. any help would be great.

You still need the radiator, plumbing, ecu and harness. Kennedy Engineering should have the adapter. There are a couple of companies in Ca building hi performance T-2/Vanogon automatic transaxles. The VW automaitc used the accelerator cable to set the shift points.
