Post subject: Crank Pulley Diameter?

Does anyone know what the diameter of a stock crank pulley is?
I have an aluminum degreed pulley on my 1600DP and I will measure it later when I get home. Not sure if it's a power pulley or not.
I want to get a spare belt and I want to make sure I get the correct one.

Power pulley inner diameter is 5 and 1/4 " and the stock should be 5 and 3/4". Stock belt Conti 9.5X905 OR 7350 Gates Power Pulley Belt Conti 9.5X850 OR 7330 Gates. The Gates 7350 outlasts the fabric woven Conti 9.5x905 ten to one.

I measured the outside diameter of my pulley and it is 6 3/4". I did find a number on the belt that is currently installed:
11.3 X 912 and I guess the belt PN: 9730798

If you measure the inside diameter you will find it is a stock size pulley.

That's good to know. I didn't want the smaller power pulley. I read that the power savings wasn't worth the reduction in cooling. I don't plan on seeing if I can go faster, I want reliability. Thanks.

Good idea keeping the stock pulley. Another good idea is keeping a spare belt, alt cable and clutch cable with you.
You would switch to a power pulley when you start consistantly running over 4000 rpms to bring the fan speed back to normal. Now go do something with that air filter.

Are the K&N Pre-Filters any good? Saw them on the K&N website.
Uni Filters? Where to see/buy?

You have a K&N one it. If the cotton is still in it is is ok. Uni Filters are 1/2 thick foam air filters. Karls has the Uni Filters. I like to use one oiled Uni Filter one over the K&N and one more none oiled Uni Filter over the oiled Uni Filter.

I'll have to drop by Karl's and see if they have my size.
